VEIC developed and refined a building simulation modeling tool that uses Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) data and regression methods to identify customer specifics about their facility. The model outputs generated are  efficiency measure suggestions customized to the customer’s specific building situation. VEIC demonstrated this technology on K-12 schools, pharmacies, and health clinics – and can be applied to medium-sized commercial buildings. The ease of use and customized savings analysis of the tools can be a catalyst for users to continually make efficiency enhancements beyond the original suggested control-based strategies.
