Dave Gelman
As Business Development Manager, Dave endeavors to make clean energy solutions available where they deliver the greatest impact for people and planet.
With a background in mechanical/automotive engineering and law, he has extensive experience working on Federal projects, including alternative fuel vehicle demonstrations and the development of policy and regulatory frameworks. He was one of six individuals honored as a Trusted Advisor and Lifetime Mentor by the Department of Energy’s Clean Cities Program, a national program advancing clean transportation in eighty communities across the country.
A self-described gearhead, what Dave loves most about his work is being able to use his technical and policy skills to improve people’s lives.
“It’s incredibly fulfilling to help people realize the benefits of clean energy. These solutions save money, reduce pollution and greenhouse gases, and improve communities, while also creating jobs. I consider myself very lucky that my work makes a real difference for people.”
When not at work, Dave enjoys working with his therapy dogs to help children in schools and in specialized youth programs.
