As Vermont’s largest city, Burlington is a beautiful university town tucked between the Adirondack Mountains of New York and Vermont’s Green Mountains. Our Headquarters are located just one block from the shores of Lake Champlain and is within walking distance of Church Street Marketplace, the pedestrian mall and hub of the vibrant downtown area. Many of the employees enjoy the Burlington Bike Path along the waterfront for either recreation or commuting to work.

Our office located in Concord, Massachusetts is just 30 minutes outside of Boston. Concord has a large selection of historical sights and events to experience. Outdoor recreation options include nearby rivers perfect for canoeing or kayaking as well as hiking trails in the Minuteman National Park and biking on the Minuteman bikeway. The Depot District is enjoyed by tourists and locals alike. It offers a variety of unique restaurants, stores, coffee shops and service businesses and is located minutes away from Concord Center and Concord Station. The Commuter rail travels daily at regular intervals making stops between Fitchburg and Porter Square (Boston) making trips to and from Boston convenient.

Summary:
Responsible for the research, development, implementation, and review of organization-wide quality assurance activities, management systems, and reporting to ensure VEIC's business practices achieve best practice standards, meet contractual obligations, and ensure consistency with VEIC's mission and core values. Works with senior managers in strategic planning, devising quality measurement metrics, and analysis of key organizational processes.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline plus five to ten years Quality Management experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.

Summary:
Key responsibilities of this new position include executive management, leadership, and oversight of Efficiency Vermont service delivery, strategic planning, marketing, policy, regulatory, and public affairs. Will also assume primary responsibility for development, execution, and oversight of agreements with the state of Vermont and will serve to ensure Efficiency Vermont goals and objectives are met. The Director of Efficiency Vermont will also collaborate with the Executive Director and VEIC's Executive Leadership Team to assure alignment of Efficiency Vermont strategic direction with VEIC strategic direction.
Requirements:
Include an MBA plus a minimum of 10 years management experience and 5 years experience in management and supervision of senior managers focused on operations in a large organization (annual budget of at least $25 million). Requires skills in executive leadership, staff supervision, contract management and negotiation, budget management, communications and the ability to develop and attain goals.
Opportunities with VEIC's Planning and Evaluation Group
The Planning and Evaluation Group provides analytical, consulting and advisory services to clients across the U.S., Canada and overseas to assess efficiency and/or renewable energy markets and to develop, implement and evaluate cutting edge programs and policies to promote them. The group also contributes to planning efforts related to VEIC's management of the Efficiency Vermont contract (www.efficiencyvermont.org).
