The NEEP Summit 2024 will bring together energy practitioners, state and local policy makers, utility experts, industry leaders, and problem solvers at a critical time for maximizing federal funding.

Rebecca Foster, VEIC CEO, will facilitate the curated panel "The Rebate Debate: State Playbooks for Maxing Out IRA Rebates". The states in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic represent varied building stocks, fuel mixes, demographics, grid plans, and more. In this session, representatives from three different states will share how they have designed their IRA, HER, and HEAR programs. Each panelist will discuss how they've structured programs to meet their own unique needs. From vision and priorities to incentives and target sectors to fund disbursement, this session will provide real-world approaches to making the most of HER and HEAR funding.

Gleniss Wade, Workforce Development Program Manager, DCSEU will be presenting at the session "Level Up: How Inclusive Talent Strategies Unlock Unstoppable Growth". Workforce development is a critical component of successful market transformation strategies. In this session, we’ll hear from representatives of an energy efficiency workforce development and training program and how they work with partners and employers to set participants up for success. The case study will highlight wrap around services, relevant and accessible training for existing jobs, partnering with employers to place program participants. Speakers will offer insights from multiple perspectives about what makes a successful workforce development program.
