Rebecca Foster will moderate a panel discussing “Smart Thermostats: The Newest, Latest, and Next in Program Strategy.” This session will highlight the latest program trends in smart thermostats, focusing on quantifying energy savings, and using these thermostats to identify other efficiency opportunities in homes.
Jim Merriam will present on “The Data Deluge: Making Intelligent Use of Big Data in Energy Efficiency.” Jim will share approaches that leverage AMI, sub‐metering, data connectivity, and data analysis to maximize the delivery of quantifiable value to consumers and regulators.
Ethan Goldman will lead a panel on “Data Analytics.” This panel will be comprised of vendors who will pitch their data analytics platforms and applications, providing the audience with a side-by-side comparison of data analytics products on the market.
Rebecca Foster will present on “New Directions in EM&V: What Evaluators and Non-Evaluators Need to Know.” Rebecca will provide an overview of the steps that it has taken through its implementation and consulting work to integrate new data streams and analytical approaches into its EM&V across the US.
Dan Mellinger will present on “Connected Lighting: Assessing the Present and Envisioning the Future.” Dan will share Efficiency Vermont’s experiences with advanced lighting controls incentive programs; data analytics methods to quantify adoption; and efforts to develop a shared definition of control systems that addresses numerous desirable capabilities within connected lighting.
