Project Profiles
Driving Adoption of Electric Vehicles
Drive Electric Vermont is a program designed to accelerate the state’s electric vehicle industry by fostering ecosystems in which the technology can most succeed. As the lead partner on this project, VEIC has partnered with the Rocky Mountain Institute, the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources, the Vermont Agency of Transportation, the Vermont Public Service Department and other interested stakeholders to facilitate the adoption of electric vehicles across Vermont.
Bolstering Transportation Services
Go Vermont is a resource for travelers who want to reduce the cost and environmental impact of driving. In partnership with the Vermont Agency of Transportation, we provide the resources that power Go Vermont's Q&A Hotline and email inquiry systems.
Challenging Commuters to Save Carbon
Through an agreement with the Vermont Agency of Transportation, we have taken on the management of the Way to Go campaign for the state. Way to Go is a week-long challenge to commuters to use non-Single Occupant Vehicle (SOV) transportation modes to reduce vehicle emissions, increase healthy lifestyles and generate lasting shifts away from driving alone to work.
