Jan Harris is the most recent addition to the Planning and Evaluation Team at VEIC. Jan is a seasoned building professional with more than 10 years of experience in construction management, real estate development, energy conservation, and implementation of renewable technologies. He is a licensed Massachusetts State Construction Supervisor and a certified Washington State Energy Code Inspector.

Jan was the Executive Director of an Energy Conservation organization called the Energy Outreach Center (now Climate Solutions) in Olympia Washington, helping to implement energy efficiency and renewable programs projects and policies in the early 1990's.

He was also involved in the financing and business support of young environmentally friendly, socially responsible companies while working for Commons Capital venture capital, and Investors Circle, a socially responsible group of angel investors in Boston.
