Sean specializes in residential energy efficiency program design and deployment within the Consulting Division. He provides technical assistance to multiple low-income weatherization programs nationally, helping develop and implement strategies to expand and improve upon existing weatherization services. Sean assists in training contractors in the Weatherization Innovation Pilot Project of Danville, VA. This project aims to increase weatherization services to the underserved population of rental property occupants, with the goal of creating a national model that integrates local municipal economic development and funding strategies with the weatherization of low income rental properties.

Sean also works with the Community and Economic Development Association of Cook County (CEDA) in Chicago, IL, expanding its weatherization training capacity to meet the increasing demand for weatherization services. He has created and deployed a comprehensive training program for the Georgia Weatherization Assistance Program which has served over 500 weatherization professionals throughout the state.  Additionally, he designed and oversaw construction of the Southeast Weatherization and Energy Efficiency Training (SWEET) Center, a 5,000 square foot facility in Atlanta, GA that specializes in hands-on training for weatherization and home energy retrofit professionals in best practice energy-efficient construction and renovation skills.
