With more than 25 years of experience in the energy efficiency and renewable energy construction industries, George brings extensive knowledge to the Consulting Division. For the last five years while at Efficiency Vermont, he has managed the design and implementation of various efficiency programs for commercial, industrial and municipal customers.
Currently, George is completing an evaluation of New Hampshire's commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs. He is also managing a contractor training program in Boulder, Colorado, through the Department of Energy’s Technical Assistance Project (TAP). The TAP provides assistance to states and municipalities, who have received Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant dollars, through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). George has over 10 years’ experience working in construction, advanced building materials sales, and contractor training. Prior to his time at VEIC, George sold renewable energy systems, primarily used for powering telecommunications, to commercial and military customers for use throughout the world. Some of these systems are currently in use in Antarctica and Mongolia.
