The VEIC Consulting Division has been sought out by forward thinking clients since 1986. Our clients recognize the necessity of innovative approaches to solve today's energy challenges. Our focus is on finding the solution that fits the problem. To do this we partner with our clients across the full solution cycle – from the creation, negotiation, and promotion of new policy initiatives to the planning and execution of programs and projects.

  • Policy: We work with legislators, consumer advocates, regulators, and other policy makers in creating sensible energy policies that enable energy efficiency and renewable energy markets to grow rapidly.

  • Programs: Through our deep connections to award-winning programs, our consultants bring the knowledge and real world experience required to turn clients’ ideas into innovative programs that work.

  • Projects: We work with clients on customer-sited renewable energy projects – spanning statewide, regional, and local initiatives. We provide a highly informed, neutral third-party perspective.

  • Analysis: We execute analytical studies and research tasks designed to ensure that our clients’ programs and projects will meet their economic and environmental goals.

Our senior members have worked for decades in the energy efficiency and clean energy sectors. In the fall of 2009, senior VEIC personnel were invited by the White House to participate in policy discussions with the President's Economic Advisory Board.  The focus of the work was to outline the policy approaches required to rapidly accelerate the demand for energy efficiency goods and services nationally.
