Irene: One Year Later

On August 27-28, 2011, Tropical Storm Irene struck Vermont with damaging winds and flood waters that devastated homes, businesses, and communities throughout the state. On the one year anniversary of Tropical Storm Irene, many Vermonters are still working to rebuild their lives, and it is clear that the impacts of the storm, and its aftermath, will continue to be felt for years to come.
