As the largest city in Vermont, Burlington also has an unbelievable number of restaurants and cultural events. Big-city urges are also easily accommodated – Montreal is just a 90-minute drive, and Boston is four hours away by car.

Areas of responsibility include marketing, business development and customer service, and delivery of energy efficiency services to residential and business customers.
Responsibilities: Oversees Efficiency Vermont directors and their staff of over 130 employees; leads Efficiency Vermont operations to ensure budgets, goals, milestones and implementation plans are achieved with high quality and alignment with VEIC's mission and core values. Establishes Efficiency Vermont program goals, objectives, milestones and metrics, in collaboration with the Efficiency Vermont Contract Negotiation Team and Operations Team. This position manages and develops systems and engineering resources for Business Energy Services to ensure the accuracy, efficiency and integrity of project metering, and participates in other activities to ensure the delivery of high quality energy analysis and technical information to market teams, staff, and customers.
Responsibilities: Develop and refine technical resource systems, analysis tools, and methods, including generic and project specific metering protocols, to ensure accurate capture of the data necessary to assess and evaluate energy and demand impacts from energy efficiency measures. This position will also coordinate all third party metering including facilitation of project information sharing, coordination between in house staff and the Department of Public Service (DPS) metering contractors, and provide monthly reports to the DPS. The Measurement & Verification Specialist (MV&S) will manage the metering equipment, including calibration and maintenance, scheduling, purchasing, etc. as well as train Business Energy Services staff in use of the metering equipment, metering protocols and safe use of the equipment.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in industrial or mechanical engineering or related field, with EIT or PE preferred, plus a minimum of five years related experience, preferably including at least two years of direct experience with on site metering for energy analysis purposes, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills were acquired.

The Planning and Evaluation Group provides analytical, consulting and advisory services to clients across the U.S., Canada and overseas to assess efficiency and/or renewable energy markets and to develop, implement and evaluate cutting edge programs and policies to promote them. The group also contributes to planning efforts related to VEIC's management of the Efficiency Vermont contract (www.efficiencyvermont.org).
