Co-founded in 1986 by Executive Director Beth Sachs and Policy Director Blair Hamilton, VEIC operates under a mission to reduce the costs, both monetary and environmental, of energy use. Toward this end, VEIC works nationally and internationally with utilities, regulatory agencies, and energy advocacy groups to design programs that reduce energy use through energy efficiency and renewable energy. VEIC operates out of offices in Burlington, Vermont, USA.
